Next week’s episode of Legends of Tomorrow promises to show the colorful show in a new light. With this week’s ‘Fellowship of the Spear’ ending with the Legion of Doom activating the Spear of Destiny, reality as the Legends know it will be drastically changed in ‘Doomworld’.

But fans don’t have to wait too long to see how the Legends universe will change, thanks to a tweet from executive producer Marc Guggenheim.

Guggenheim shared the following photo, which he says opens ‘Doomworld’. While this may look to some like an alternate version of S.T.A.R. Labs, it’s a building that has some significance to the Legion of Doom.

The building, appropriately nicknamed the Hall of Doom, has been associated with the villainous group since the Super Friends cartoon of the 70s. Lex Luthor, the leader of the Legion at the time, presumably created the fortress, which would rise out of hiding in Slaughter Swamp in the event of group meetings. In the comics, it has since been home to the similarly-evil Injustice League.

While the original version of the Hall of Doom had the ability to fly and travel back in time, it’s safe to assume that Legends version of the building will not be going anywhere, given the fact that the Legion appears almost boastful about their manipulation of reality.

This is certainly not the first time that the Super Friends series has been referenced in this season of the DCTV universe. The Legion were named within the universe of Legends thanks to Nate Heywood (Nick Zano) being inspired by a ‘Hanna Barbera cartoon’. And of course, fans will remember the Hall of Doom’s counterpart, the Hall of Justice, being officially utilized in the four-show crossover back in November.

It’s unclear exactly how the Hall of Doom will factor into the episode, aside from this establishing shot. But considering the fact that the Legends version of the Legion of Doom was previously operating in the Vanishing Point, this new location is certainly an upgrade.
