Before it made its way to the Arrowverse, the Invasion! storyline debuted in 1988 as part of a three issue line-wide event in the comics. If you’ve been feeling nostalgic for the original series, Todd McFarlane has you covered.

The original advertisement poster for the Invasion! series made its way to Reddit (via MulciberTenebras). Part of this poster made it to the first issue’s cover, which was done by McFarlane. Perhaps even more impressive than the art itself is the fact that each issue of the series came in at 80 pages, but fans of McFarlane won’t be disappointed in his pencils either.
