ComicBook.com had a chance to sit down with the entire Supergirl cast while at SDCC17. It was there that Melissa Benoist had the following to say about a particularly crazy sequence that we’ll apparently see in the Supergirl season 3 premiere:
“We filmed some pretty crazy… [confers with producers] … there’s an insane sequence in that first episode that was really tough to film, and I think is going to look great.”
The showrunners and cast all teased some greater spectacles in the action sequences we’ll see in season 3 – which would make sense now that Supergirl is fully established (read: funded). Fans expect the visual scope to only get bigger and better, which sounds exactly like the plan.
Supergirl season 3 will premiere on Monday, October 9th, at 8/7c, on The CW.
Based on the DC Comics character, Supergirl AKA Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist), decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and become the hero who she was always meant to be on The CW series, Supergirl.
