The CW has released the official promotional photos for "Infantino Street," next week's episode of The Flash, which guest stars Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold.
The episode is named for Carmine Infantino, co-creator of the Barry Allen Flash, but it's also the name of the street seen in Barry's flash-forward to Iris West's death in the midseason finale.
And because of the flash-forward nature of that episode, many of these images look familiar, including the showdown between Killer Frost and Vibe seen in the attached image gallery. Cold's appearance is one of the biggest question marks, in that he wasn't present in any of the flash-forwards and since audiences most recently saw him set back on the path to his noble death at the end of DC's Legends of Tomorrow's second season just weeks ago.
You can check out the official synopsis below, and the images in the attached gallery.
With only 24 hours left until Savitar murders Iris (Candice Patton), Barry (Grant Gustin) struggles to save the woman he loves and makes the choice to use any means necessary to do so. Realizing he has one option left to save her, The Flash turns to Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) for help.
Michael Allowitz directed the episode with story by Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Grainne Godfree.
