If Barry Allen can face off with an alternative version of himself surely Reverse-Flash can get some face time with his alternative self, right?

At least that’s what actor Matt Letscher would like to see. Letscher told fans at the Flash panel at Dragon Con in Atlanta yesterday that he would like to have a scene with an alternative version of his character, Eobard Thawne.
Despite Thawne’s unpleasant end during the season two finale of Legends of Tomorrow (a vibrating hand to the chest courtesy the Black Flash certainly didn’t look like fun,) fans know that a little thing like death or non-existence hasn’t stopped Thawne before. The evil Reverse-Flash was erased from the timeline back at the end of The Flash‘s first season, only to reappear thanks to Barry’s Flashpoint timeline in season three before hopping over to cause chaos for the team on Legends of Tomorrow.
And with the Legends breaking time themselves there’s room for Eobard Thawne to meet Eobard Thawne somewhere in the timeline while the team tries to fix things in the upcoming third season of Legends of Tomorrow. After all, if Damien Darhk and Leonard Snart can both cheat death, who says a speedster can’t outrun it, too?
The Flash will return for its fourth season on Tuesday, October 10th at 8 p.m., followed by new episodes of Legends of Tomorrow at 9.
