If there was someone who Wonder Woman could easily identify with, it would be Marvel’s Captain America. Both find themselves products of past traditions and war, though in many different ways. It’s fitting then that the two heroes unite in this fan video for Fleurie’s Soldier.

Both fight wars for the greater good, and often with the odds stacked against them. Despite those odds, these soldiers don’t give an inch, and the action from Wonder Woman, Captain America: The First Avenger, and Captain America: Civil War pairs perfectly with the given soundtrack. The trailer was created by YouTube user Lilian Hearts, with help on the coloring from Hells Canary. It kind of makes you wish these two could meet on the big screen, but that doesn’t seem very likely for the considerable future. Still, you can dream, and if you like the song you can find more from Fleurie on the official website, and you can find more of Lilian Heart’s work here. The full trailer is in the video above.

Wonder Woman currently enjoys a 4.06 out of 5 on ComicBook.com’s anticipation rankings, and you can find the official synopsis below.
