The first wave of reviews for Wonder Woman have finally been released online, and they’re even more positive than the biggest optimists expected. According to the rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the film is poised to be one of the best superhero movies of the past few years.

As of Tuesday morning, 51 critic reviews had been counted on the site. Of those reviews, 49 of them were fresh, and only two were rotten. With those numbers, Wonder Woman has a 96% score on the site.

When you compare that rating to the other two comic book films of 2017, it stands out as the highest-rated of the bunch. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has a score of 81%, while Logan boasts a 92%. The fact that Wonder Woman is currently beating those two films is definitely an achievement that shouldn’t be taken lightly.

The one thing to remember however, is that a lot more reviews will roll in over the next couple of weeks. By the end of its run, Logan has been reviewed by almost 300 critics. With that in mind, it’s likely that Wonder Woman‘s rating will change a lot over the course of its theatrical run.

However, the ratings won’t change that drastically. People are loving Wonder Woman and that’s likely to continue when the film hits theaters this Friday.
