Ah, San Diego Comic-Con. Not only is it a place to watch your favorite stars talk about upcoming movies and video games, but it’s also the ideal place to pick up some really cool exclusive items – if you can beat the rush from the crowd, that is. And it appears that Mondo will have some cool collectibles that fans of classic Konami games shouldn’t dare miss.

Mashable reported on the collectibles, but we’ve included the images for you here, as well as pricing and availability – and they are going to go fast.
First up is a new poster for the classic NES game Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse. It was put together by artist Sachin Teng, and it looks pretty amazing, featuring Dracula and a bunch of different creatures compiled into one neat piece of work. It’ll go for $65, and there will only be a limited run of 150. It’s perfect for any gaming room!
The rest of the stuff revolves around the arcade/NES classic Contra, and it’s really cool. First up is a new poster designed by artist Eric Powell, featuring the two heroes, Bill and Lance, in the forefront, and the boss of Red Falcon, a large alien, in the back. This one will go for $45, and there will only be a run of 225 units.
But the real collectible here is a cool record, which features music tracks from both the original arcade version and NES version of Contra on alternate sides. The red-orange-yellow colored album will be a limited print, featuring Powell’s art on the front and on the inside. There will only be 1,000 records available, and they will sell for $25 apiece.
If you can’t make it to Comic-Con, Mondo has noted that it will sell a different version of the Contra soundtrack on its website at a later time. But, judging by its exquisite design, this is the version that you’ll want to pick up.
These items will be for sale starting on preview night next Wednesday, July 19th, and once they’re gone, they’re gone, so you might want to jump quickly. Good luck!
You can see the items in the attached gallery.
By the way, is it just us or does that one soldier kind of look like Star-Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy? Naaaaah.
