After much grumbling from fans, Activision finally relented and decoupled Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered from Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare last month, releasing the former as a standalone game. Unfortunately, the solo version of Modern Warfare Remastered was only released for PlayStation 4 – PC and Xbox One versions were promised for some time in the future, but no date was given.

Well, Xbox One owners won’t be waiting much longer. Activision still hasn’t officially announced a date for Modern Warfare Remastered on Xbox One, but it seems GameStop has decided to go ahead and jump the gun. According to this listing, the game hits Xbox One arrives on July 27, exactly a month after the PS4 version…

GameStop doesn’t have a PC listing for Modern Warfare Remastered yet, but you can probably safely assume it will come out at the same time as the Xbox One version.

The standalone version of Modern Warfare Remastered costs $40, and doesn’t include the recently released classic maps DLC (you’ll have to pay $15 extra for them). A rather hefty price for an old game, but Activision knows fans are willing to pay. Another classic map pack, featuring old-school favorites Palace, Terminal, Skyscraper, and Boundary is rumored to be coming soon, so keep your credit card at the ready.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered was originally released exclusively as a bonus for those ordered the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition bundle, which didn’t sit well with a lot of fans given Infinite Warfare‘s poor reception. Oddly, early adopters will still have to put their Infinite Warfare disc in every time they wanted to play Modern Warfare Remastered.
