Destiny 2 Endorsed By NFL Player's Hilarious Touchdown Dance

The team behind Destiny 2 announced earlier this month a new endorsement deal between Bungie and Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The wide receiver was tasked with a very important mission: dance like millions of people are watching. The specific touchdown dance was created to replicate one of Destiny 2's emotes. The dance itself was supposed to see real life, but Brown couldn't score a touchdown during last weekend's game.

The tides then turned as game three saw the golden opportunity to show off those sweet, sweet dance moves. When Brown received a pass from Ben Roethlisberger, a touchdown was made possible in the second quarter setting up the perfect IRL emote execution. For those not a fan of the the recent Bungie shooter, it might have been a little awkward because there was nothing really specific to connect the game to Brown's on-field shenanigans. Nonetheless, the moves were sick, and Bungie quickly took to Twitter to make the connection for those that might have missed the reference:

We see you, Antonio Brown, we see you. We also see you, Titan-Who-Has-No-Moves.

Though the original endorsement deal didn't go as planned, it was still entertaining to watch. For those that are currently enjoying Destiny 2 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, this same dance can be earned in-game via Bright Engrams.

And can we just take a moment to appreciate that despite a rocky start to the game, Brown managed to keep up a solid attitude about the whole thing?

Destiny 2 is now available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players, with a PC release slated for October 24th. Need a little help navigating the sequel's world? Check out our Tips Guide right here to dive in fully prepared.
