To celebrate the forthcoming release – as well as the PC beta that will arrive in just a few days – Activision and Bungie have released a new trailer for Destiny 2, and it’ll definitely get you in the mood to fight.

After disclosing the loss of a war at the beginning, we see a number of heroes rise up and try to fight back against the enemies once more – along with the suggestion of maybe getting a sandwich after the whole thing is done. (Gotta love Nathan Fillion.)

You can watch the trailer above, and don’t forget you can also pre-order the game in order to gain access to the cool Coldheart rifle, which is sure to deliver a fair amount of damage.

“From the makers of the acclaimed hit game Destiny, comes the much-anticipated action shooter sequel, Destiny 2. Experience an all new cinematic story campaign, innovative cooperative gameplay, and intense competitive multiplayer as you journey across unexplored worlds to discover an arsenal of weapons and devastating new combat abilities.”

We’ve already seen the console beta in action, and it has a lot of promise going for it. But all eyes will be on the Destiny 2 beta when it takes place on PC starting August 29th, as you’ll be able to see a number of differences with that version. We’ll let you know how it all plays out once the beta comes to a close over the Labor Day weekend.

In the meantime, we’re definitely looking forward to the full game when it drops on September 6th for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and October 24th for PC. We’ll have just enough time to save the galaxy, get some Sparrow racing in, and then get that sandwich. Now…what kind of sandwich? Our money’s on roast beef and Swiss. Can’t go wrong with a classic.
