Destiny 2 is out now for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players and and though it only recently dropped, there’s already tons to do in the latest MMO title. With the successful Leviathan raid launch, and more easter eggs being found by the minute, the new content provided by Bungie is keeping the sequel’s release fresh.
For those Crucible players looking for exclusive loot drops and more of a challenge, the Trials of the Nine is a great way to show other players what you’ve got. There are a few things players need to know about the newest challenge, because it is definitely not built for the more casual players.

The Trial by the Nines is a 4v4 mode, just like the other Crucible challenges. What makes this one a little different is that Bungie has described it as “high intensity,” so a solid group with strong communication could make or break the chances of successes.
In order to participate in the newest challenge, players must first beat the main campaign. Trust us, it’s a good thing – get those power levels up! Upon the full completion of the main game, players must then complete the Call to Arms Milestone. In order to achieve that particular milestone, players just need to make sure they are active participants in Crucible matches before each weekly recent. From there, the minimum power level is set at the standard 260.
Another tip to players looking into throwing themselves and their picked team into the fray, make sure you have the equipment you want geared up and ready to go. Once the challenge starts, the equipment becomes locked in, meaning it can’t be changed out until the challenge is complete.
Once the checklist is complete, the right loadout is equipped, and a team you trust is at the ready – it’s time to face off. In the 4v4 mode, your team will face off against another team of 4 in an effort to win seven matches total. Get that seven match win, and Spire access will open up for you and your team as a reward.
