There’s nothing quite like watching your favorite WWE Superstar strut into the ring. Everything comes together in those exhilarating opening rituals — the sights, the showmanship, the music — everything combines to transform these men and women into heroes; into WWE gods.

Sure the fireworks and the choreography are stunning, but it just wouldn’t be the same without some pulse-pounding music filling the air and transforming the ambience into something otherwordly. It takes the right tracks to get us pumped and ready to go, and no one knows what goes into that perfect moment better than Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. That’s why Johnson has been chosen to be the Executive Soundtrack Producer for WWE 2K18, personally curating his personal favorite hype tracks to fuel our spirits as we live out our own WWE fantasies.
“Music is one of my soul’s anchors,” said Johnson. “All genres. I’m excited to celebrate my WWE roots by partnering with the 2K and Apple Music teams and share some of my favorite hardcore training songs with fans all over the world.”
The WWE 2K18 official soundtrack includes:
Blues Brothers โ “Soul Man”;
Boston โ “Smokin’”;
Bruno Mars โ “Runaway Baby”;
Disturbed โ “Down With The Sickness”;
Eazy-E โ “Boyz-N-The-Hood”;
George Thorogood & The Destroyers โ “One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer”;
Joe Walsh โ “Rocky Mountain Way”;
Kanye West โ “Black Skinhead”;
Kid Rock โ “You Never Met a White Boy Quite Like Me”;
ยกMAYDAY! (feat. Tech N9ne) โ “Last One Standing”;
Tech N9ne (feat. Krizz Kaliko, Serj Tankian) โ “Straight Out The Gate”.
It’s a pretty stellar lineup, and Johnson has obviously put his heart and soul into this project for us. This is the music that gets The Rock ready to rumble, and I have a feeling it’ll work just fine for you, too.
Had fun putting my personal training tracks together for @WWE 2K18. Many weren’t cleared due to that explicit language thing. ๐ Enjoy ๐ค๐พ https://t.co/SkxQ1y7zVT

I hear ya, Dwayne. If I had a nickel for every time someone stepped onto the treadmill next to me and I had to turn down my DMX for fear of shocking them… I’d have a few nickels.
