Friday the 13th: The Game players received a rough patch that caused issues while fixing others, and as the dev team works to resolve the problems, they've posted an update to keep players involved in the process.

Within the Friday the 13th: The Game forums, Joshua Gertz, the executive producer for IllFonic, made a post regarding where the team's at with their bugfixes. While there weren't any definite dates given for when the patch would likely go live, Gertz did provide a long list of bugs that have either already been fixed internally or are in the process of being resolved.

From issues with perks to stunning Jason, below are all of the bugs that have already been taken care of internally along with notes from Gertz:

  • Perk Fixes (Fixed Internally)
    • We have internal fixes for Grease Monkey, Heavy Hitter, Man at Arms, and Tinker. QA has verified them and they should be in the next patch.
  • Pocket Knife Fixes (Fixed Internally)
    • Additional fixes for the spam kill exploit.
  • Stun Locking Jason (Fixed Internally)
    • We found an issue where the Stun Timer was being doubled...opps, its fixed internally and will be rolled out with the next patch.
  • Jason Stun Animation (Fixed Internally)
    • We found an issue where after Jason was stunned but hit again it was breaking the Stun Animation/Pose making it appear Jason was no longer stunned when he actually was.
  • Grand Slam Jason (Fixed Internally)
    • We fixed a number of issues where Counselors could knock Jason across the map...it may still happen occasionally but it should not happen as often anymore.

Jason's interactions with windows and doors are taking a b it longer to resolve, though, bugs that create problems when Jason attempted to smash a door, window, or even attack a Counselor. This bug is still "In Verification," so it might take a bit longer before a fix for that one goes live.

The news that the above bugs have been fixed already is definitely a welcome update, one that's part of a continued effort from IllFonic and Gun Media to keep players in the loop. A full list of bugfixes in the works can be seen here through the forum along with other Friday the 13th: The Game news.
