The second round of champions and skins being sold at a discount in August, a new League of Legends sale is coming soon that'll bring more cosmetic options for champions like Nautilus and Aatrox.

Unfortunately, as the two champions listed above might indicate, there aren't too many deals for champions that are popular at the moment as far as cosmetics are concerned. The discounted champions make up for this just a bit, but the sales are usually looked forward to because of the skins sales, so unless you really need a new champion, this sale might be one to pass up in favor of future options.

A full list of champions and skins and the prices that they'll be on sale starting tomorrow can be found below.

Skins

  • Spooky Gangplank for 260 RP
  • Warden Nautilus for 375 RP
  • Runeguard Volibear for 487 RP
  • Justicar Aatrox for 487 RP

Champions

  • Elise for 487 RP
  • Diana for 440 RP
  • Sona for 395 RP
  • Ekko for 487 RP

The set of skins that are on sale definitely makes up a boys' club this time around, and as stated previously, the appeal of some otherwise attractive options is slightly diminished by the fact that none of these champions are very strong at the moment. Aaatrox most certainly isn't, though his skin is tied for the most expensive option from the discounts, so if you're planning on saving money now when he's eventually reworked, now's the time to pick up one of his better skins.

Spooky Gangplank is actually one of the most appealing options here despite being the lowest-tiered skin. It's mainly just a blueish version of Gangplank, but the spectral theme works well with his pirate persona to give the skin a lot of bang for your buck.

Elise is the most expensive discounted option for the champion sale, tied with Ekko, and the jungler has found a way to persist in most jungle metas by either going tankier or opting for an AP build to add onto her already quick burst. Speaking of bursts, Diana is also available for a discount, and with recent buffs in the last patch, she's in a pretty decent spot to try out.
