If you’re an amateur artist or skin designer, there’s always one surefire way to get noticed in the League of Legends community: make a work featuring Ahri. No other champion in the League even comes close to the popularity that Ahri enjoys, so there’s no better champion to make fan art of, especially when you consider that Ahri is even more popular overseas that she is in North America. Even if it’s not the first work, there’s no getting away from the fact that every League-inspired artist will eventually make a work paying homage to the League’s greatest seductress.

We’ve highlighted the work of Slown Damn multiple times in the past and with good reason. Every skin concept the man makes is golden, whether is be his Pool Party Taliyah or his Ravenborn Xayah. Thankfully, Soulstealer Ahri is no exception, despite being the most grounded of his works.
The Soulstealer line of skins is fairly rare on the rift, as of its two entries one is exceedingly rare (Soulstealer Vayne) and the other is overshadowed by a vastly superior skin (Soulstealer Vladimir). For those have might not seen it in the past, the skin line is pretty much known for one thing: being green. While both of the existing skins do have slight particle alterations, they’re not all that major, especially in the case of Soulstealer Vladimir.
Slown’s Soulstealer Ahri breaks the mold entirely. Not only is the skins primary color purple instead of green — though green does serve as the accent color for Ahri’s model — it also features new particle for all of her skills. Most impressive amongst these new particles is the circle of green Succubi heads that encircle Ahri when she casts Foxfire, a vast improvement over the bland and uninteresting particles that Ahri’s default skin is graced with. You can check out all of the new particles and effects for yourself here.
So will we ever be able to see Soulstealer Ahri on the rift? Probably not in this exact incarnation, no, but who knows what Riot might decide to do in the future. No one expected them to release Soulstealer Vayne, either.
