Magic: The Gathering fans have been treated to some truly excellent crossovers and collabs in recent years. And there are still more to come, particularly if you’re a Marvel fan. Earlier this year, Wizards of the Coast treated us to a first look at the upcoming Magic: The Gathering x Marvel Spider-Man cards. This new comics collab set will web-sling onto shelves on September 26th. But today, I have the pleasure of bringing you another sneak peek at four more never-before-seen cards from the collection.

So far, we’ve seen a handful of cards from the Marvel’s Spider-Man expansion for Magic: The Gathering. But today, I can exclusively reveal four new card designs featuring Spider-Man, along with a few iconic friends and foes. Both fans of the original comics and the movie adaptations from the Tobey Maguire era onwards will be pleased with what they see.
Wedding Ring (Artifact)

The first card on our list features Spider-Man and Mary Jane at their wedding, surrounded by an array of Marvel characters, including villains like Doc Oc and fellow heroes ready to fend them off on Peter’s big day.
The Wedding Ring card costs 4 Mana to play, with 2 of them needing to be White Mana. Once cast, it forces your target opponent to make a copy token. Then, any time they draw a card, you will also draw a card, so long as they still control that Wedding Ring token. Similarly, when they gain life, you will also gain that same amount of life.
Traumatize (Sorcery)

Next up, a card featuring none other than Mysterio, up to his old tricks in battle with Spidey. The card itself shows comics art for both characters, and it looks like Mysterio has backed Spidey into a tight spot.
Playing the Traumatize Sorcery card requires 5 Mana, with at least 2 of them needing to be Blue. This card forces the target player to mill half of their library. If it’s not an even number, they get the luxury of rounding down.
Goblin Bombardment (Enchantment)

Next up, the villain who was immortalized by none other than Willem Dafoe in the 2002 Spider-Man film trilogy. The Goblin Bombardment card features Green Goblin on his glider, pulling off an impressive attack against our hero.
This Enchantment card requires 2 Mana, with at least 1 Red Mana to play. When used, you’ll sacrifice a creature in exchange for dealing 1 damage to any target. It may have you quoting Dafoe’s Gobby with a “You know how much I sacrificed?” but it just might be worth it in the right scenario.
Unexpected Windfall (Instant)

Finally, we’ve got another card that features both Peter and MJ, but this time, without the Spider-Suit. This comics reference features MJ using her classic nickname for Peter, and it is indeed a jackpot for players.
The Unexpected Windfall card costs 4 Mana, with at least 2 Red Mana, and you’ll also need to discard one card to use it. But don’t worry, because you’ll get to draw two new ones, along with creating two Treasure tokens. Not half bad.
The Magic: The Gathering x Marvel’s Spider-Man set releases on September 26th. It is available for pre-order now via the Magic: The Gathering website.
