Today's the day that Lord of the Rings and Shadow of Mordor fans everywhere can celebrate, as the long-awaited sequel Shadow of War has finally arrived. "Let us hunt some Orc!"

To celebrate the game's release, a new launch trailer has arrived, not only providing a glimpse of just how massive the game is, but also its many accolades, including praise for its enormous sandbox-style world and its storytelling.

On top of that, it provides a glimpse of just what all your character can do within the game, including enlisting Orcs to take down their own kind, riding a dragon and tearing apart the landscape (and the enemies within it), using your spectral powers to great ability, and all sorts of carnage between the fighters. Needless to say, you're going to have your hands full for quite some time.

Once again, players are I control of Talion, who, alongside elf lord Celebrimbor, attempts to bring peace to the land of Mordor. But that's easier said than done, as Sauron is running wild with his army of Orcs. It's up to Talion to put his powers to good use, assembling an army that will allow him to overtake Orc strongholds and eventually bring Sauron to his knees.

The game has a tremendous Nemesis system, revamped from the first game, in which you can pick targets and make things a little more personal, if you prefer. Also, Shadow of War benefits from a vast combat system, as well as many other cool abilities that will really show you what all you can do.

We'll be reviewing this one later this week, but for now, check out Shadow of War's trailer above, and get ready for battle as the game is now available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
