Nathan Fillion is a huge name in pop culture, most notably for his role in Firefly, as well as his pronounced voice work over the years in video games. In Destiny 2, Fillion plays the iconic Cayde-6; the sassy hunter that has an affinity for the random. Though he plays a Hunter as a voice, turns out Fillion prefers the Warlock class for his own gaming experience.

The hilarious voice behind Cayde-6 took to his Instagram account to show off his shiny Warlock, rocking an impressive 280 powerlevel and more engrams than he knows what to do with. The caption definitely reads like Cayde-6: simple, but definitely has that comedic, dramatic flair.
From the looks of his equipped gear, it looks like Fillion might favor the Voidwalker subclass if his Skull of Dire Ahamkara is anything to go by. He’s got some good drops too, which is only fitting for the man behind Cayde himself.
It’s not uncommon for the voices to partake in the game of their participation, but Fillion has definitely put the time in with the Bungie sequel. Though powerlevels can scale into 300, getting pasted 265 is quite the feat and requires more than minimum effort. This makes the appeal of post-campaign content such as strikes and raids ever more appealing so that Guardians can get the best loot and make their avatars look as badass as they feel.
Apparently the Warlock is a more beloved class than perhaps realised. The voice of Commander Zavala, the Titan Vanguard, also is fond of playing this outside of his character’s class. Now we just need to see if Ikora Rey, the actual Warlock, favours her own class as well, or if she’s looking to break tradition and go Titan.
Destiny 2 is now available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with a PC release slated for October 24th.
