While it’ll probably be a while before we see another Uncharted game make the rounds, we’ve got more than enough to keep us busy right now, between last year’s A Thief’s End and the just-released The Lost Legacy. And let’s not forget multiplayer, where you can take on other players for treasure superiority.
With that, the developers at Naughty Dog has announced that it will launch Team Tournaments later this month for both Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy. It said, “we’re adding tournament matchmaking and real-time results reporting to Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and Uncharted 4 Multiplayer. Starting this week, you’ll be able to create teams, register for tournaments, complete matches against other teams, and have results posted seamlesslyโall directly from your PS4 and within the game.”

The tournaments will kick off starting this Sunday, October 8th, and players can actually register now. Naughty Dog has already listed the steps you need to take in order to jump into the fun, and they’re broken down below:
“With PS4 5.00 installed, you’ll want to head over to the Events menu on your PS4 and find the new and improved Tournaments section. From here, you’ll be able to join or create teams, manage team rosters, and more. From the Tournaments menu, you can also browse and enroll in ongoing tournaments, view match schedules and rules, check standings, and communicate directly with your team.
“Once you’ve registered for a tournament, you’ll be able to access the new Tournaments menu within Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and Uncharted 4 Multiplayer. When it’s time to compete in a scheduled match, you’ll be able to matchmake with the opposing team and see player information directly from this menu. All you have to do is log in on time, hit “Play Tournament Match,” and play. You’ll automatically be paired with your teammates, matched against the appropriate team, and the results will be posted to the official tournament standings.
“We’re excited to support Team Tournaments and look forward to seeing competitions unfold in the weeks and months to come.”
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy are available now for PlayStation 4.
