New Highly Rated Steam Release Looks Like a PS1 Game and Is Steam Deck Verified

A new Steam release looks like a PS1 game, and PC users are loving it, as evidenced by its “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating. For those who do not know, this is the highest rating a game can earn on Steam, and is the result of 95% of 1,567 user reviews rating the game positively. More than this, the new PC game is also Steam Deck Verified, which means Valve has tested it on the handheld and can confirm it is playable from start to finish and works well with the machine’s built-in display and unique controls.

The new Steam game is called Easy Delivery Co., a delivery simulator, aka a Death Stranding simulator, with a PS1-style presentation and vibe. Developed by solo developer Sam C and published by Oro Interactive, Easy Delivery Co., is actually one of the highest-rated games of the last month, and it’s only $12.99. It doesn’t have a Metacritic score due to insufficient reviews, but its Steam user review score speaks for itself. And right now, it is a PC/Steam exclusive. It could come to console in the future; it probably will, but right now, it’s one of the highest-rated games on Steam of the past month, and it can only be played on Steam, elevating its prominence on the platform.

About the Game

Easy Delivery Co. is a cozy, relaxing driving game where you play as a recently-hired delivery driver who must make deliveries in a scenic mountain town that has been ravaged and is being destroyed by inhospitable weather. That said, something is amiss, which you will also have to get to the bottom of whilst doing your job.

The game isn’t very long — about four to six or maybe seven hours long — but that is why it is only $12.99. Meanwhile, the content that is there is praiseworthy. In particular, if you enjoy games like Death Stranding, Animal Crossing, and Crazy Taxi you probably will find something here because it’s a cozy, strange mix of these three titles.
