Have you managed to get your hands on a Nintendo Switch yet? Chances are you haven’t, as the system’s launch shipment sold out almost immediately, and the machine has been hard to find since. The Switch blew away the competition in April, selling another 280,000 units, so its clear demand is still high. Well, it seems your next chance to get Nintendo’s console/portable hybrid will come this Friday.

Toys R Us have announced they’re getting another resupply on May 19 (Friday), but, of course, stock will be limited, so you may want to stake out a place in line! Here’s what the kiddie retailer had to say about their latest Switch resupply:
“Nintendo Switch is returning to store shelves at Toys R Us this week! On Friday, May 19, all Toys R Us stores nationwide will have a limited inventory of the super-hot console. Much like our previous Nintendo Switch inventory drops, we highly recommend that customers get in line before doors open on Friday morning for a chance to purchase.”
So yes, time to take a sick day, because lining up will be required to get one of these machines. Check out the Toys R Us website to find out when your local store opens. Oh, and we have word this restock also applies to UK Toys R Us stores, so prepare to strike, Brits!
The last major Nintendo Switch restock came in April alongside the launch of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Unfortunately, GameStop and other retailers sold through stock that was expected to last for days in mere hours. Don’t expect this latest Toys R Us resupply to last any longer!
