Marshadow is now available to trainers in the United States and other countries, but only for a limited time. Players in the US can get a code to unlock Marshadow in their copies of Pokemon Sun and Moon from their local GameStop location. Once they’ve obtained the code, they can obtain Marshadow using the game’s Mystery Gift Function.
Marshadow is a unique Ghost/Fighting dual-type Pokemon and has its own signature move and special Z-Move. Marshadow’s Spectral Thief attack steals all of its opponent’s buffs before dealing damage, while its Z-Move Soul-Stealing 7-Star Strike will do a massive amount of Ghost-Type damage to an opponent.
Any Marshadow obtained during this distribution will be at Level 50 and know the moves Spectral Thief, Close Combat, Force Palm, and Shadow Ball, and comes holding the special Z-Crystal Marshadium Z
As Marshadow is a Mythical Pokemon, it can’t be obtained via normal means in the Pokemon games. This distribution is likely the only way players can get this Pokemon for the foreseeable future, so players will want to get to their GameStop location as soon as possible. GameStop will only have codes available until October 23rd.
You can see more of Marshadow in the upcoming Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You, which hits select US theaters next month.
