Last year, Microsoft released an interesting third-person action/adventure for the Xbox One by the name of ReCore. Produced by the team of Keiji Inafune and Armature Studio, the game proved to be good fun for a number of players, as you upgraded a number of robots to assist you in battling other enemies. But for those who missed it the first time around, there’s another version that’s apparently on the way.

A listing on the Pan European Game Information (PEGI) page has indicated that a Definitive Edition of the game is on its way to Xbox One. Which is interesting, because we haven’t seen the game’s downloadable content revealed just yet.
It was noted that some new bots and areas were going to be available for the game, but so far, we haven’t seen any sign of it yet. This Definitive Edition could indicate that it’s still on the way, and expected to be released on its own for Xbox Live, as well as part of the package.
Information on the game’s release hasn’t been revealed yet, as Microsoft hasn’t said a word. However, the publisher was hoping for an opportunity to make more money on the game, since it didn’t exactly sell like gangbusters the first time around, with reviews ending up in the average category instead of highly recommending it. That said, we kind of liked it, and it has some cool innovations to offer for those that miss the classic 3D platformer/action games that were on the market years ago.
We’ll let you know if Microsoft says anything about the game or its pending content. For now, you can check out the original ReCore for Xbox One, as it’s available now.
