Retro gaming is all the rage right now thanks to Nintendo‘s frustratingly inept strategy of stirring everyone into a frenzy over their NES an SNES Classic consoles. Thankfully, there are other options out there for those looking to feel a bit nostalgic. And warm.

Sony wants in on this wave of gaming nostalgia, but instead of a tiny PS1 or PS2, they’re giving you hoodies. Of course, Nintendo already went down this road with their ultra-rad NES hoodie, and now they’re back at it with an SNES version that takes its design cues from the Super Famicom styling.
You may or may not have thoughts about the blocky design of the North American SNES vs the sleeker Japanese design, but purple accents might have worked better on a hoodie. Then again, I would worry that the whole thing would turn yellow after a few years.

As for the PlayStation hoodies, the lines and decals evoke the look of the consoles without getting too crazy. Not what I would call “subtle” by any stretch of the imagination though. On that note, you might as well go all out and pick up this messenger bag to coordinate with the PS1 version if you are so inclined.
You can pre-order the NES hoodie here, the SNES hoodie here, the PS1 hoodie here, and the PS2 hoodie here (Check out the gallery below to take a closer look at each of the styles.) In keeping with Nintendo’s grand tradition, availability is limited on certain sizes for all of these hoodies, so you’ll want to nab yours quickly before they sell out. With any luck, we’ll get an N64 hoodie somewhere down the line. Anyone want a SEGA Saturn hoodie? Atari Jaguar? I know – how about a Nokia N-Gage hoodie? No takers?
