For those that have been interested in trying out the Star Wars Battlefront II beta but haven't had the chance yet, there's good news! DICE has officially announced that the open beta trial going on now has been extended for two more days in order to give players a chance to check out everything the beta has to offer before the game officially launches in November.

The announcement came via the EA Star Wars Twitter and opens up the play period until Wednesday October 11th. For those that have already been getting their Star Wars on, this gives even more time to get familiar with the playable characters in the futuristic multiplayer setting.

The newest title from the Star Wars-verse is going a little bit back to the game franchise's roots. Unlike the immediate predecessor, Battlefront II will offer a detailed single-player storyline to provide fans with a heartfelt story and a narrative that Star Wars fans can enjoy:

"Forge a new path as Iden Versio, commander of Inferno Squad—an Imperial special forces unit equally lethal on the ground and in space. Encounter many of Star Wars ' greatest characters in a story of revenge, betrayal, and redemption that spans 30 years."

But it wouldn't be a Battlefront title without a multitude of multiplayer maps and the team over at DICE promises that long-time fans of the franchise will not be disappointed with the locales available and the characters playable.

For those that find themselves really enjoying the beta, there is a Deluxe Edition available that provides a three day headstart to the game, new upgrades, and fighter instant access. As per the official website, here's what is included within the Deluxe Edition of Star Wars Battlefront II:
