Next week will be a big one for Street Fighter V players, as Capcom‘s latest fighter is set to deliver a flaming fistful of new stuff in a beefy update. Here’s everything you can expect from the update:

New Fighter: Ed

Revealed earlier this month, Ed finally joins the fight next week. Bio-engineered to be M. Bison’s replacement and more-or-less raised by Balrog, Ed is an interesting mix of those two classic fighters. The guy has the punching strength of Balrog, but can also deploy kicks and tap into M. Bison’s Psycho Power. You can check out his moves in the trailer at the top of this post. Ed costs $6 or 100,000 FM (Fight Money).

New Stage: Spain

Vega’s classic Street Fighter II stage gets remade for a new generation. Flamenco dancers and guitarists do their thing in the background as a bloody cage match rages nearby! Oh, and yes, you can still climb the cage like you did back in the day. Spain costs $4 or 70,000 FM.

The Thailand stage is also returning, now that it’s had it music track scrubbed of unintentional Islamic references.

New Capcom Fighter’s Network

Capcom has been promising to revamp and expand Street Fighter V‘s online play for a while now, and now the improved Capcom Fighter’s Network (CPM), finally leaves beta testing. Capcom is promising less lag, improved matchmaking, and more, and those who sign in before June 13 will get a bonus 50,000 FM.

Character Balancing

Capcom has made the following tweaks to existing Street Fighter V characters:

– Level 1 – 6 Motion: Added throw invincibility for frames 1-18F.
