Can you believe that it’s been seven years since we’ve seen a Sims game on a console? Sure, it’s the sort of game that a lot of fans believe works best on the PC, but EA has proven in the past that the experience can be done on the likes of Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 without losing its luster.

So what happened? Did EA get so swept up with the Sims universe on PC that it didn’t give consoles a consideration again? Or was it just waiting for the proper time to bring it back? Whatever the case, we’ve got some good news โ€“ it’s making a return.

The publisher announced today that it will be releasing The Sims 4 on November 17th for Xbox One. Here’s the full description and features, taken straight from the game’s product page:
