Xbox One Getting Slammed With Seven Killer Games This Week

You may not have realized it, but this week is going to be a huge week for Xbox One owners. There are some killer games coming out this week, and they’re pretty much releasing back to back. As if 2017 wasn’t already stacked enough with great games, you’re about to get seven more on your Xbox that are all worth checking out. Whether you’re into psychedelic rhythm games (and who isn’t?!), hardcore adventure, nonstop action, or all things retro, there’s something huge for you this week. Here’s the full lineup from the Xbox Wire:

Agents of Mayhem – August 15
An open-world, third-person action game from the creators of Saints Row, Agents of Mayhem puts you in the boots of a group of super agents, each with their own distinct look, personality, weapons and more. Can you take down and rout the evil Legion out of Seoul?

Sonic Mania – August 15 (our review here)
An all-new 2D Sonic adventure with his friends Tails and Knuckles. Revisit classic zones with a twist while fighting back the evil Dr. Eggman’s evil robot army. Or go head-to-head with friends in a new competitive mode or play in co-op with a friend.

Cyberpunk horror and more

Circuit Breakers – August 16
Shoot, explode, and explore in this frenzied top-down arcade blaster with a modern twist for the Xbox One. Become a supreme warrior alone or co-op with up to five friends to rid the universe of a ruthless intergalactic robot army.

Conan Exiles without the ding-dong

Conan Exiles – August 16 (Xbox Game Preview)
An Xbox One console launch exclusive, Conan Exiles is an open-world survival game set in the brutal lands of “Conan the Barbarian.” Survive in a hostile world, build your kingdom, and dominate your enemies in both single and multiplayer.

Thumper – August 18
Thumper is a violent, blistering, and brutal physical experience. Take on the role of the space beetle and brave the hellish void and confront your nemesis: a maniacal giant head against a thumping, powerful soundtrack.

And by the way, in case you missed the somewhat hilarious controversy, it’s been confirmed that the North American version of Conan Exiles will not contain full male nudity like it does on PC. While the European version of the game will retain its nudity, the North American release will only have partial nudity. You know, because we’re super okay with blood and guts, but ding-dongs freak us out.
