The First Collection of J.R.R. Tolkien's Poems and New LOTR Editions Are On Sale

Thanks in large part to The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power series on Amazon Prime Video, there has been a flurry of activity over the last couple of years with regard to new editions of J.R.R. Tolkien's work, starting with the release of the Illustrated Editions of The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and The Silmarillion. Recently, LOTR colllector's editions have been added to the mix (for the first time in the U.S. here on Amazon) with gorgeous hardcover designs that include foil stamping, stained edges, and a ribbon bookmark. 

However, the most exciting new release might be The Collected Poems of J.R.R. Tolkien box set that launched here on Amazon earlier this week. It collects his poems for the first time in a 3 volume hardcover collection, and includes work that was written starting in 1910 when the author was just 18 years old. He continued writing these poems continuing throughout his life, reflecting his experiences in WWI, elements that tie into Middle-earth, and more. Over 60 of these poems are being published for the first time in this collection, so there's a pretty good chance that most Tolkien fans will be reading them for the very first time.
