Eriq Lasalle Cast In The Wolverine 3

Eriq Lasalle has been cast in an undisclosed role in Wolverine 3, according to a report by THR. The actor joins a growing cast including Stephen Merchant, Boyd Holbrook, and of course Hugh Jackman returning for "one last time" as the titular character.

Wolverine 3 (not final title) will be directed by Gavin Hood, and is rumored to be loosely based on, or at least inspired by, the comic book story "Old Man Logan," which finds an older Wolverine struggling to survive in a world where the villains have won.

Lasalle starred on ER as Dr. Peter Benton, and has recently appeared on A Gifted Man and The Widow Man.

Wolverine 3 is set for a March 3, 2017 release from 20th Century Fox.
