Today, at the “Marvel: Cup O’Joe” panel at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2016, Marvel Comics announced Inhuman vs. X-Men a six-issue event series from writers Jeff Lemire and Charles Soule and artist Leinil Yu.

Inhumans vs. X-Men will bring the slowly simmering conflict between Inhumans and mutants to a full boil. Cyclops made the first attempt during the events of Death of X, but now all mutants must unite in a desperate last stand against extinction.
In order to survive, mutants must find a way to destroy the Terrigen Mists once and for all, but the Inhumans aren’t going to make that task easy for them. With the vitality of their own species at risk, the Inhuman royal family calls on the aid of Inhumans from across the Marvel universe – including Quake, Ms. Marvel, and Moon Girl – to defend their catalyst for their future existence.
