X-23 takes a starring role in Hugh Jackman’s Logan and has been a fan favorite in the comics for quite some time. Fans have watched the character grow from a feral and lethal child to an as lethal X-Man who is capable of compassion and patience. This journey is a big part of her appeal, and it goes far beyond comics.

Those in the Cosplay community have taken notice as well, including Cosplayer Luna Gabriella, who teamed with photographer Sillas Belmont for a photo shoot that perfectly embodies the beauty and danger that X-23 exhibits at all times.

X-23’s previous costume (before she took on the Wolverine moniker) was all black with only a belt as the lone accessory. This fit X-23’s down to business approach, as the only real accessories she needs is her trusty adamantium claws.In fact, the claws are one of the best things about this Cosplay, as they actually look the part. Part of that is thanks to the stellar lighting, which conveys just how sharp they are.

Logan takes place in the year 2024, where mutant births have become extremely rare. The defenders of mutant kind, the X-Men, are long gone, and the only remains of them are an old and struggling Charles Xavier and a weary Logan. Logan’s vaunted healing factor has slowed, and at times doesn’t seem to work at all. When a young mutant needs his help, Logan has to unsheathe his claws once more. His job isn’t over yet.

Logan stars Hugh Jackman (Logan), Boyd Holbrook (Donald Pierce), Patrick Stewart (Charles Xavier), Dafne Keen (Laura Kinney/X-23), Doris Morgado (Maria), Stephen Merchant (Caliban), Elizabeth Rodriguez (Gabriela), and Richard E. Grant (Dr. Zander Rice). James Mangold is directing and helped on the screenplay along with Scott Frank and Michael Green.

Logan is now playing in theaters.
