The press tours for Avengers-related films are always fun to pay attention to, if only because of Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan and their inability to take anything serious.

While their characters might not have gotten along with each other in the last two Captain America movies, the actors are a constant source of entertainment. Especially when they’re making fun of Tom Holland.
At Disney’s D23 Expo, it seemed like Mark Ruffalo and Don Cheadle were coming after #Stackie’s crowns, with them revealing “spoilers and what have you, but the two actors addressed the conflict directly while speaking with Good Morning America. The two were asked about any lingering beef with Team Iron Man after Captain America: Civil War. Check it out below!

“Seeing Don Cheadle every time is getting problematic,” Stan began.
“That’s an issue,” Mackie added. “Don’s an issue. Ruffalo is definitely an issue. But, you know, you do what you can. The older catsโฆ if you look at the movie [Civil War], the way it’s split, it’s the older cats and the younger cats.”
“He’s talking about Cocoon,” Stan joked. “Classic.”
“And the older cats are very unstable in the way they look at the world,” Mackie said.
โจBoth groups of actors definitely have great rapports, so we’d love to see them go head to head on something like Family Feud or Lip Sync Battle. We wouldn’t even mind seeing their characters get into an all-out brawl in a Marvel Studios movie.
Whatever it takes to keep this rivalry going โ and maybe adding Tom Holland and Benedict Cumberbatch to the mix โ we are all for it.
