Thor: Ragnarok will see the clash of two titans, and a new promo gives fans their best look at the epic fight.

In the new “Main Event” promo, the Grandmaster (played by Jeff Goldblum) presides over the event as his two gladiators prepare to duel. Those would be Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and you can see more of the throwdown in the new footage.
While Thor tells Bruce Banner he won the fight, the footage shows a different story. It also shows though that Thor did put up a fight, using speed and agility to his advantage. Unfortunately, sheer power wins here, with Hulk eventually landing an epic punch that launches Thor across the arena and into a wall.

As fans witnessed in the first trailers, Thor: Ragnarok features a much different take on Thor and Hulk than seen in their previous outings. That goes especially for Hulk, who will be much less one dimensional in his green goliath form.
“He’s much more of a character than the green rage machine you’ve seen in the Avengers movies,” Ruffalo told EW. “He’s got a swagger. He’s like a god.”
Thor Ragnarok combines the Planet Hulk storyline with the Ragnarok event from the comics, creating an altogether unique vision of both stories. It’s unknown how Hulk gets to Sakaar, but once he’s there he is dueling it out in the arena just like in the books.
