The new photo, courtesy of user rkkim on Reddit, shows Lilly coming out of her trailer in full costume, including the Wasp’s helmet which is marked with what appear to be tracking dots. You can check out the image below.
As in previous images of the full Wasp costume, the suit is mix of blue, grey, and red and appears darker than the suit previewed at the end of the first Ant-Man movie. This new photo come on the heels of a video surfacing of a fight scene between Wasp and Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) which also saw Lilly in full Wasp costume, though it’s not clear if this photo is associated with that scene.
Also, not clear is the plot of the Ant-Man sequel. Few details about the film have been revealed but what we do know, and this image again confirms, is that Hope Van Dyne will be getting in on the heroic action as she assumes the heroic identity of her mother, Janet Van Dyne, who will be played by Michelle Pfeiffer in the film.
We also know that Wasp isn’t the only character with a new suit. Ant-Man has been seen in set photos with a slick new costume as well.
Ant-Man and the Wasp is currently filming in Atlanta and has a 3.88 out of 5 ComicBook.com User Rating, making it the ninth most anticipated upcoming comic book movie among ComicBook.com users.
