'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 5 Episode 5: "Rewind" Preview Released

Marvel Television and ABC have released a new preview for next week's episode of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD, titled "Rewind."

"Rewind" looks to explain the surprise that came at the end of last night's episode of Agents of SHIELD, "A Life Earned." The episode goes all the way back to the moment that Leo Fitz was left behind at the restaurant where his shield teammates were taken away and sent to the future.

Based on the preview, it seems like Fitz found himself in a bad way, even imprisoned. Luckily, he gets an assist from an old friend, Lance Hunter (Nick Blood) as he continues his quest to reunite with his teammates.

This will be the first time that Lance Hunter has been seen in Marvel's Agents of SHIELD since he and Bobbi "Mockingbird" Morse left SHIELD with a "spy's goodbye."

The episode may also explain how Fitz got a message to the SHIELD team in the future in the form of a postcard with the message "working on it" written on the back, and perhaps reveal more about the mysterious individual who sent the SHIELD team through the time travel monolith in the first place.

Marvel's Agents of SHIELD airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
