Punisher Animated Statue Debuts From Gentle Giant

It's amazing how artist Skottie Young can transform even the grittiest hero into a delightful one that just begs to be hugged. Out of all the ones he's created, however, Frank Castle is probably the one who's closest to the source material, and Gentle Giant's latest statue captures that gritty and slightly annoyed essence perfectly.

The Punisher is the latest statue in their animated line, each one based off of Young's popular Marvel variant covers (via Toyark). Their previous statues have all been adorable, but even with the humorous stylings of Young, The Punisher still looks about as unapproachable as one can be. It doesn't help that he's sporting two rather sizable revolvers, and his expression gives off the impression that someone just peed on his boots.
