The recently renewed Agents of SHIELD is barreling toward its fourth season finale with the help of the recently returned Spirit of Vengeance, but even with some demonic hellfire on your side it’s never easy saving the world.

As the former Life Model Decoy known as Aida attempts to remake her perfect world outside of the Framework, the Agents will team up with Ghost Rider to track her down and eliminate the threat.
Series star Elizabeth Henstridge spoke with EW about the finale, hinting that the inevitable confrontation will get explosive.
“We’ve seen what the Framework looks like and now Aida’s trying to recreate that in the real world,” said the actor who plays Jemma Simmons. “We know what happens though, we know the oppression, we know the kids whose classrooms get blown up. The stakes are huge. You’ve got two sides that are willing to risk everything and the consequences to not winning are diabolical.”
With the series recently picked up for a fifth season, we’re not expecting everything to get wrapped up all neat and tidy when the finale bows out. And with everything Marvel, expect a post-credits scene to set up some future storylines.
