The Marvel Cinematic Universe is getting ready to blow a few million minds next year. The franchise will celebrate its tenth anniversary in 2018, and the milestone will be commemorated by the release of Avengers: Infinity War. The massive film is set to pit Earth’s Mightiest Heroes against Thanos with the help of other Marvel superstars. So, really, it’s not surprising to hear fans are totally unprepared for the blockbuster.

Tom Holland may be busy these days promoting Spider-Man: Homecoming ahead of its release, but the actor is taking the time to talk about his bit in Infinity War. The Spider-Man actor will be one of the dozens of Marvel characters to star in the movie, and Holland says no can is ready for what Infinity War will bring.

Speaking to the Toronto Sun, Holland told the publication the next Avengers film “needs no teasing.”
“That movie literally needs no teasing. It’s going to be the biggest movie of all time,” Holland explained. “Believe me; no one is ready for that movie. I don’t know anything about it or what it’s about. I know who the villain is, but that’s it. They don’t let me read anything because I’m so bad at keeping secrets.”
Of course, there is no telling how much Holland actually knows about the movie as a whole. The actor admitted Marvel Studios won’t even let him look at the whole Infinity War script. Holland sat down with ComicBook during a press round, and the actor told Brandon Davis the following:
“I don’t know anything about the film if I’m honest. I just know I’m in it,” he said. “The funny thing about that movie is I showed up and I was like, ‘Can I read the script?’ And they were like, ‘No, you’re terrible at keeping secrets.’”
Still, Holland isn’t letting a little thing like script secrecy ruin his career high. The star told Collider recently he has wanted to be part of the MCU since the beginning, and he cannot believe he will fight alongside the Avengers as Spider-Man no less.
“[It’s] life-changing. I’ve wanted to be in an Avengers movie since the beginning,” Holland confessed. “If I’d ever imagined I would be playing Spider-Man in the Avengers movies, I would have kicked you in the face and said you were lying. But it really was the highlight of my career and it’s something fans are not ready for. It is going to explode.”
