The biggest movie production of the year is well underway. Avengers: Infinity War has assembled its cast in Atlanta, Georgia to produce the biggest endeavor coming from Marvel Studios to date.
However, Atlanta is far from the only location in which this massive ensemble film will be shooting. A couple of a weeks ago, directors of the film Anthony and Joe Russo took to Facebook to share a location scouting photo, something the sibling directors have been making a habit of.

In the photo, the Russo Brothers are simply standing and observing the location, likely thinking of the mayhem Thanos is going to cause. Some fans suspect the photo is a tease of Doctor Doom’s land of Latveria and others have Harry Potter on their mind as the bricked building is reminiscent of Hogwarts. Of course, neither of those will be the case as 20th Century Fox owns the rights to Doctor Doom and Harry Potter is Harry Potter.
In any case, the photo in reference can be seen below.
The location seen in the photo, in reality, is the Durham Cathedral in Durham, England. That said, there is something much more interesting and important about this place than simply where it sits in the real world…
The Durham Cathedral sparking ideas of the Harry Potter films is not far fetched. In fact, the location was used by Warner Brothers in the production of their Harry Potter movies. It literally is Hogwarts, both inside and out.
The Russo Brothers have deleted the image from their accounts, prompting fans to suspect they will be going forward with using the location in Avengers: Infinity War.
