Avengers: Infinity War wrapped production late last month, but there’s still one actor who has not read the film’s script. According to Dave Bautista, the Guardians of the Galaxy star has refrained from skimming over any part of the film which doesn’t directly involve him.

Taking to Twitter, star answered a fan after they asked Bautista about his reaction to the Infinity War script. Here’s what the actor had to say:
“I chose not to read it. Gods honest truth! I want to sit there with my bucket of popcorn and bag on M&M’s and be surprised!”

Obviously, Bautista did have read over the script’s bits which required him to speak. The Guardians of the Galaxy star will take part in the third Avengers film and introduce Drax’s unique humor to Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Just recently, Bautista even did an interview with Good Morning America where the actor dished about the scene that sees his team meet Thor for the first time.
“When we shot it, it was just so ridiculous,” Bautista recalled.
“We had a lot of fun with that whole scene. It’s kind of the first interaction between the Guardians and Thor, obviously.” he continued. “There’s just so many jokes to be made there with how handsome and perfect Chris Hemsworth is and how insecure Star-Lord is. A lot of good fun and a lot of good humor.”
For now, it looks like Bautista will have to wait like every other Marvel fan when it comes to Avengers: Infinity War. Oh, and Tom Holland can also be added to that list! After all, the actor did tell ComicBook earlier this year that he’s not allowed to read the full Avengers script thanks to his loose lips.
“I don’t know anything about the film, if I’m honest,” Holland told our Brandon Davis during a press junket for Spider-Man: Homecoming. “I just know I’m in it.”
“The funny thing is about that movie is I showed up and I was like, ‘Can I read the script?’ And they were like, ‘No, you’re terrible at keeping secrets.’”
