The trailer included a man sitting in a chair and dressed in a fine-looking emerald suit. The man also has a lip plate and the camera lingers on him for a moment during the trailer.

The characters is play by Isaach De Bankole who fought Daniel Craig in the James Bond movie Casino Royale. Director Ryan Coogler tells Entertainment Weekly that the actor’s Black Panther character is “the elder of one of the largest tribes in Wakanda.”

This means that the man in the emerald suit could cause quite a few problems for the Black Panther. While T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) is the king of Wakanda, much of his time ruling the African nation involves navigating the power struggles of the countries many tribes. This is the reason that the king’s personal bodyguards, the elite Dora Milaje, are specifically drawn from across all of the tribes of Wakanda, in order to maintain a balance of power and to avoid the appearance of favoritism. With Man-Ape and Killmonger already in the movie, T’Challa probably doesn’t need more enemies.

Black Panther currently has a 4.02 ComicBook.com User Anticipation Rating, making it the seventh-most anticipated upcoming comic book movie among ComicBook.com users. Marvel Studios’ Black Panther follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king.

But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as kingโ€”and Black Pantherโ€”is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.

Black Panther is directed by Ryan Coogler from a screenplay co-written by Coogler and Joe Robert Cole. Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa / Black Panther, Michael B.
