Black Panther continues to outperform box office expectations and is now looking at a four-day opening weekend gross of more than $210 million.
Black Panther is opening 4,020 location in North America. The film was at first project for an opening weekend gross of $100-120 million, but the film’s record-setting $25.2 million made on Thursday alone caused projections to soar. Now, with a Friday total of $76 million, those projections have risen once again.

Black Panther‘s $76 million Friday is the eight-highest opening day in box office history and the third largest opening day ever for a Marvel Studios film.
Black Panther is on pace to break the President’s Day opening weekend record as well, blowing past the $152 million record previously set by Deadpool in 2016.
Black Panther has also done well in overseas markets, earning $80 million since screenings began on Tuesday in the United Kingdom, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and other major markets.
Black Panther was made with a $200 million budget. Black Panther is the first Marvel movie since The Avengers to receive an A+ CinemaScore.

From Clint Eastwood comes “The 15:17 to Paris,” which tells the real-life story of three men whose brave act turned them into heroes during a high-speed railway ride. In the early evening of August 21, 2015, the world watched in stunned silence as the media reported a thwarted terrorist attack on Thalys train #9364 bound for Parisโan attempt prevented by three courageous young Americans traveling through Europe. The film follows the course of the friends’ lives, from the struggles of childhood through finding their footing in life, to the series of unlikely events leading up to the attack. Throughout the harrowing ordeal, their friendship never wavers, making it their greatest weapon and allowing them to save the lives of the more than 500 passengers on board. The heroic trio is comprised of Anthony Sadler, Oregon National Guardsman Alek Skarlatos, and U.S. Air Force Airman First Class Spencer Stone, who play themselves in the film.
