At the very end of last week’s Agents of SHIELD spring premiere, Daisy finally got through to Coulson as he remembered her name. And in this new clip from this Tuesday’s “Identity and Change” episode, Coulson is trying to absorb that the Hydra-run world he has been living in isn’t real and he’s trapped inside a computer simulation known as the Framework.

“So, we’re both from the real world; we’re SHIELD agents; our bodies are being held captive and this is all a virtual prison built to keep us sedated,” Coulson says aloud in his classroom. He then turns to Daisy and asks, “Am I missing anything?”

“Nah, that’s about the gist of it,” she replies nervously, hoping that he believes it.

“I knew I wasn’t crazy!” he confidently exclaims. He then explains his bizarre conspiracy theory involving Hydra and blue-colored soap.
