Spoilers incoming for Doctor Strange #18, so if you haven’t read the issue yet you’ve been warned. Also, you might want to put the sandwich down, because it’s rather gross.

In Doctor Strange #18, the Sorcerer Supreme is faced with former patients who’s brain tumors have come back courtesy of Mister Misery. For those who might not know, Mister Misery was created from Strange’s own pain and suffering, leftovers from Strange’s many magical battles. It stands to reason than that he wants to get back at Strange in any way he can, so using former patients from his doctor days would be a solid start.

Strange enlists the help of Thor to handle the surgeries and Misery. With Strange’s help, Thor is able to extract the first tumor, a nasty bit of gunk with several eyes, just like Misery. After it attempts to latch onto Thor’s helmet, Strange grabs it and proceeds to eat it. When Thor asks if he is indeed eating it, Strange says “It’s made of my own pain and suffering. I’m reabsorbing it.”

Thor chimes in “Tell me. Are all your teamups this bizarre and revolting?” Yeah, Thor might just let the phone continue to ring next time the doctor calls.
