When it comes to the Fantastic Four, Hollywood just can’t catch a break. The superhero family is one of Marvel’s most famous clans, but 20th Century Fox has failed to deliver a movie which hypes the superheroes. The studio has churned out two Fantastic Four franchises which flopped with fans and critics. Naturally, audiences have started to petition Fox to lend the heroes to the MCU since Marvel Studios has a handle on its massive superhero lineup. And, now, one netizen has made a fan-poster for Fantastic Four that will actually make you want a reboot.

Over on Reddit, user @TheKosmicKollector shared a piece of fan-art they did for the Fantastic Four. The poster, which can be seen below, is mirrors the art style which the MCU uses for its Avengers movie. The fan-made movie poster nods to the team’s iconic suits as their blue fabric acts as the background. The logo for the Fantastic Four can then be seen situated front-and-center, and the caption “Reunite” can be read above. At the bottom, the logo for Marvel Studios can be seen, and the poster has got fans wishing it were real.
Of course, the fan-poster has hit the Internet shortly after reports about a new Fantastic Four reboot went live. Yesterday, Bleeding Cool published an article which said the site’s sources has clued them in on a developing remake. The report asserts Fox is looking into a kid-friendly reboot of the Fantastic Four. Rather than focusing on the famous team itself, the movie is expected to focus on Franklin and Valeria, the children of Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman.
According to reports, Seth Grahame-Smith is overseeing the reboot’s first draft. Fox has yet to give any official word on the rumors, but the studio has said it wants another shot at the franchise.
If you have been hoping the MCU could tackle the Fantastic Four, don’t get your hopes up. Marvel Studios may have struck a deal with Sony to borrow Spider-Man, but Fox has been notoriously stubborn when it comes to Marvel. Recently, Kevin Feige spoke for Marvel Studios when the president told fans it had no plans for the Fantastic Four.
“[We have] no plans with the Fantastic Four right now. No discussions about it,” Feige stressed.
So, for now, it looks like the Reddit user’s poster is just a hopeful wish – but it could become reality one day. If Fox were to have its next Fantastic Four reboot bomb, the studio may be more open to working with Marvel Studios, and the conversation could lead to another MCU addition.
