After a bit of a hiatus, The Incredible Hulk roller coaster at Universal Studio's Island of Adventure in Orlando officially returned to active duty, and it brought with it some substantial upgrades.

Who better to test those out than Stan Lee, co-creator of iconic Marvel characters like The Hulk, Spider-Man, Thor, and The X-Men. Unfortunately, Lee couldn't make it to the ride in person, but sent the next best thing, a cardboard cutout of himself nicknamed Flat Stan Lee.

A bit on the nose, but that's fine, they can't all be winners.

As you can see in the video, Flat Stan Lee is riding in the updated coaster cars, which are fully repainted in a stylish green, and are sporting new headlights for each car. Fans can expect the same great coaster experience, just with a few new bells and whistles, including a built-in audio system that will pump out a new soundtrack created by Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy.

Before getting on the coaster, fans will make their way through a military lab compound, the creation of General Thaddeus Ross. Video screens adorn the halls, along with plenty of glowing decor items for users to take in. You'll make your way through the line, ultimately coming upon the Gamma core, which is briefly seen in the video. The Gamma core is "an intense energy source that sends pulsing waves of radiation upward to fuel General Ross's experiment", so it's probably best to keep the kiddos from touching it. If he or she breaks it, I doubt you have one just lying around in the garage.

Once you're seated, you're in for the ride of your life, as The Incredible Hulk rollercoaster is widely regarded as one of the most unique and exhilarating coasters out there today.
