Disneyland’s popular Guardians of the Galaxy ride may exist in its own universe separate from the comics and MCU films, but there are still fun Marvel Easter eggs throughout for the eagle-eyed fan.

The ride, which is housed in a renovation of what was the Tower of Terror, is full of items collected by Taneleer “The Collector” Tivan. In addition to Marvel-related goodies, fans may also spot Disney prop surprises as well according to Travel and Leisure. Tivan is a collector of things from all over the galaxy, after all.
While fans have waited up to seven hours to enjoy the 4- to 5-minute ride, many likely missed some of Tivan’s hidden treasures, but we have you covered.

Prosthetic Leg
In the first Guardians of the Galaxy film, Rocket Raccoon makes Peter Quill fetch a prosthetic leg from another prisoner, claiming that he needs it for the escape plan. Turns out that Rocket really only wanted it because he thought it would be funny. The film’s director, James Gunn, has the real prop leg in a display case in his office, but on the Disneyland ride fans can spot a portion of the same type of leg in Tivan’s office. It’s peeking out from a bunch of other items in The Collector’s stash so if you blink, you might just miss it.
Stark Industries Vita-Ray Meter
In Captain America: The First Avenger, Steve Rogers undergoes a transformation from being too unhealthy and small for the Army to being the peak of physical condition as a part of a super-soldier experiment. In the film’s transformation scene, a Vita-Ray meter made by Stark Industries measures the radiation levels in the transformation chamber. Clearly the item was of interest to Tivan, as it is found sitting on a bookshelf in his library.
Hail Hydra
Nestled in amongst The Collector’s treasures are at least two Hydra items. The first is a simple red disk featuring Hydra’s symbol, while in another part of Tivan’s office a Hydra assault rifle is prominently on display. As Hydra has a villainous reach throughout many parts of the Marvel universe, one can only wonder exactly where Tivan procured the items. Perhaps he visited the set of Agents of SHIELD? After all, riders have spotted three Terrigen crystals as well as the Obelisk from the show’s second season.
Something From Kamar-Taj
This particular Easter egg may go unnoticed by all but the most watchful of fans on the ride. A figurine located on the ground floor of the ride might be a double surprise. A small statue featuring dragons and Asian lettering was reportedly part of the original Tower of Terror, but if you look carefully the statue has an item tag. The tag references Kamar-Taj, the land hidden high in the Himalayas and the home of the Ancient One. We wonder how Tivan managed to get this past Wong.
You Haven’t Seen It All “Yeti”
As Tivan is a master collector, the ride makes sure that there are nods to more than just the Marvel universe hidden among the items in Tivan’s vast treasures. In addition to bottles and other small items from the original Tower of Terror ride, fans may be quick to notice the familiar face of Harold the Yeti poised to scare anyone who comes his way. Harold was previously a fixture of the Matterhorn Bobsleds before being replaced by a newer version of the terrifying yeti.
