Ryan Reynold's Merc With A Mouth will certainly be loony in 20th Century Fox's Deadpool, but will he be downright insane?
No, apparently. As a new report from Entertainment Weekly's special Comic-Con issue reveals, the live-action Deadpool will not suffer from schizophrenia like his comic book counterpart. Deadpool's legal insanity, which explained much of the character's kooky, fourth wall-breaking behavior (or, most of it at least), has been the character's trademark since the 1993 miniseries Deadpool: The Circle Chase.
But even if Reynolds' interpretation of Wade Wilson isn't certifiably schizophrenic, it looks like the actor still honor Deadpool's manic charm. After all, how many other comic book movie characters pose on a bearskin rug?
